Husk I kan læse om vores do’s and don’ts her og vores gode råd om billig billeje her.
English: Last week we shared some good advice when driving in the States, and this week we follow up with four more traffic rules and tips and tricks for a better driving experience in America.
- Be sure to check the traffic rules in the state you are driving in. The rules vary from state to state, so it’s good to be updated on the local rules.
- When nearing a school bus be extra careful. You must stop when the bus pulls over, and it’s not legal to haul over the bus when it’s in service.
- Be aware of toll roads. Usually you can’t rent an E-ZPass which lets you through the toll area almost without stopping.
- As European citizens driving in the States it’s a good idea to bring an international drivers license. At most hotels they don’t believe that our pink drivers license actually is a real license 😉
Have you any experiences from roadtrippin’ in America? Please tell about you’re tips and tricks!
